METHOD FOR TREATING HYPERSENSITIVITY OF DENTIN

A method for treating hypersensitivity of dentin comprises the application of the nanoparticles onto the sensitive dental area until their penetration to microcanals followed by laser treatment. The nanoparticles of calcium fluoroapatite and its modifications are used. The wavelength of laser irradiation is within the absorbance spectrum of calcium fluoroapatite. The mode of laser irradiation is sufficient for photothermal activation when the melting nanoparticles of calcium fluoroapatite close the microcanals in dentin.
