Steam-Over-Solvent Injection in Fractured Reservoirs (SOS-FR) is carried outby treating afractured hydrocarbon bearing formation penetrated by a well with a firstphase of injecting aformation compatible aqueous fluid into the fractured hydrocarbon bearingformation throughthe well, a second phase of injecting a hydrocarbon solvent into the fracturedhydrocarbonbearing formation through the well and at least a third phase of repeating thefirst phase after thesecond phase.
