The invention relates to a method for establishing a global system model equation consisting of model equations, which contain parameters, of individual components that form the global system. According to said method, the parameters of the individual components are detected using sensor values from the sensors that are allocated to the individual components and it is determined whether it is possible to adapt the parameters to the sensor values and to solve the global system model equation.
