PURPOSE: A novel plasmid isolated from Pediococcus pentosaceus CBT-8 is provided to express pediocin having antibacterial activity and massively produce the pediocin.;CONSTITUTION: A plasmid Pjw79 has a sequence of sequence number 1. The plasmid is isolated from Pediococcus pentosaceus CBT-8. A cloning vector is produced by inserting a promoter, MCS(multiple cloning site), and selection marker to the plasmid Pjw79. A shuttle vector contains plasmid Pjw79, E.coli replication origin, promoter, MCS, and selection marker. The promoter is 16S rRNA promoter, low-pH-inducible promoter, Hypoxiainducible promoter, or ptsH[phosphotransferase system HPr(phosphocarrier protein)] promoter. The selection marker is antibiotics resistant gene, color forming enzyme gene, fluorescence gene or luminescence gene. The pediocin having strong antibacterial activity to Listeria, Salmonella, and Helicobacter pylori is produced using plasmid Pjw79.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
