A power conversion device for a doubly-fed induction type aerogenerator and a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) control method are provided to reduce harmonic flowed to a system from a doubly-fed induction type aerogenerator by controlling a generation form of a PWM signal for controlling a converter. A rotor-side converter(24-1) is connected to a rotor of a doubly-fed induction type aerogenerator. A DC link capacitor(24-3) is arranged between the rotor-side converter and a grid-side converter(24-2). The grid-side converter controls a voltage of the DC link capacitor. A controller(24-4) performs a PWM control of the rotor-side converter and the grid-side converter. An on cycle of the PWM signal about the rotor-side converter is an off cycle of the PWM signal about the grid-side converter. An off cycle of the PWM signal about the rotor-side converter is an on cycle of the PWM signal about the grid-side converter.
