The retractor (10) has a drive device (40) standing in connection with a belt reel (20). A connecting device (50) connects a gas producer (60) and the drive device. The connecting device has a guide tube (70) and thrust members i.e. balls (80a-80c, 81a, 81b, 82a, 82b), present in the guide tube, where the members are accelerated after detaching the gas producer. A heavier thrust body is provided along a longitudinal direction of the guide tube and in a direction of the drive device. The heavier thrust body is present before a lighter thrust body.
