Stepped geothermal energy sensor for trickle film evaporation, has pipes with pipe sections arranged in respective upper, middle and lower regions, where pipe section in upper region includes larger diameter than subsequent pipe sections
The sensor (1) has pipes with multiple pipe sections (2-4) arranged in respective upper, middle and lower regions, where fluid cooling agent (10) is downwardly trickled at an inner surface of the pipes and evaporated by geothermal energy. The pipe section in the upper region includes a larger diameter than the subsequent pipe sections. The pipes are made of plastic. A diameter of the sections is designed such that a turbulent flow is produced in trickle film and the trickle film is not influenced by steam. Distribution devices (9) are arranged at locations in the sections.
