The method involves varying loads with a frequency that is synchronized with frequency of rotating rolling elements during dynamic testing of a roller bearing in roller bearing test stand. A synchronization condition is adjusted using a stroboscope. Testing of the bearing is performed in an environment with respect to lubricant, type of lubricant, cleanliness conditions, bearing temperature and surrounding temperature. Critical frequencies provided from the synchronization condition are used during development, designing and application of the bearing. An independent claim is also included for a roller bearing test stand for determining dynamic life of roller bearings.
