The device has a trough (4) provided with a flexible wall, at which vibrating paddles (48, 50) are provided. A crankshaft (60) moves the vibrating paddles in an oscillating manner. The crankshaft has a spring element (100) designed as helical springs (108, 110), and a pneumatic cylinder for automatically controlling the amplitude of movement of the paddles in dependence of flowability of bulk goods. The spring element and pneumatic cylinder are switchable without providing more pressure. The cylinder comprises pressure control valves for adjusting the goods during operation of the device.
