The method involves constructing a rectangular mine section in the form of a mechanized hydraulic powered roof support over a passage (2). A curve or rectangular roadway with an anchoring or underground support is constructed with or without back-filling building material. The curved or rectangular roadway is supported in a transition area (20) arranged between two mine openings of a roof (6) by a support system. The roof is reinforced and/or stabilized in the transition area in front of the roof support with the back-filling building material by the support system. The roof is reinforced and/or stabilized in the transition area by using silicate or polyurethane resin.
