The assembly (1) has a sash (2) with an interior face that is placed an interior face of a building. The interior face includes an upper surface (15a) formed by an interior face of an upper frame (10) of the sash, and a lower surface (15b) extended under an intermediate crossbar (8). The lower surface is horizontally displaced towards an exterior of the building with respect to the upper surface to install, after placement of the assembly in a bay (B), an interior cover (A) covering the lower surface while conserving the upper frame apparent on the interior face of the building.
