PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical-free cultivation method for farm crops of C3 plants other than shade plants and semi-shade plants, as a cultivation method using no chemicals responding to disease and insect damage and as a growth method making the cultivated plants drastically tastier than those cultured outdoors, comprising varying the balance of sunlight spectrum to perform chemical-free cultivation.;SOLUTION: The chemical-free cultivation method for farm crops of C3 plants other than shade plants and semi-shade plants includes cultivating the farm crops in optical environment where the ratio of red light R/blue light B in cultivation environment is changed so as to become larger than that on the bare ground and the ratio of the red light R/far-infrared light FR is changed so as to become smaller than that on the bare ground, wherein spectral emission brightness in a wave length area having red light effect for photomorphogenesis is the red light R, spectral emission brightness in a wavelength area of blue light having reaction under strong light for photomorphogenesis is the blue light B, and spectral emission brightness in a wavelength area having far-infrared light effect for photomorphogenesis is the far-infrared light FR.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
