PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing control device which makes the distortion in a drawing inconspicuous without using any complicated control mechanism, and to provide a laser beam applying apparatus, a drawing control method, a drawing control program, and a recording medium, in which the drawing control program is recorded. PSOLUTION: The drawing control device for controlling a drawing device to draw an object for drawing on a medium includes a drawing position determining device for determining the drawing position for drawing the object for drawing on the medium based on drawing information for drawing the object, a drawing order determining device for determining the drawing order of line segments included in the object, and a drawing command generator for generating the drawing command reflecting the drawing position and the drawing order.
