PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the area of an image being actually printed varies depending on the layout position when layout and marginless printing of a plurality of images are carried out.;SOLUTION: Image data representing the color of each pixel by multilevel gradation are acquired for an image composed of pixels in dot matrix, layout information specifying layout of the image with respect to a print medium is acquired, and print area information specifying the print area in the image is acquired. By referring to the print area information, part of an image including the print area and an area corresponding to the outside of the print area is extracted from the image data and this extracted image data are arranged on a print page according to the layout information thus generating print image data.
