PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily design an optimal blade curved surface shape suitable for a use condition.;SOLUTION: This method comprises a processing procedure 1 (#1) for constituting a rotary curved surface by rotating a pair of opposite segments on a quadrilateral and plural segments connecting the both segments around an arbitrary straight line, a processing procedure 2 (#2) for constituting a bent curve of a three-dimensional curve for each rotary curve surface, a processing procedure 3 (#3) for rotating the rotary curved surface according to an arbitrary curved segment 1e, a processing procedure 4 (#4) for forming circumferential projecting parts at the curve segment 1e by extending the bent curve to a prescribed direction, and a processing procedure 5 (#5) for constituting a blade curved surface by smoothly connecting the bent curves. Thus, it is possible to design the blade curved surface with various projecting part shapes while fixing the blade curved surface other than the projecting parts by performing a procedure for additionally forming the shapes of the projecting parts. Therefore, it is possible to consider the influence of only the projecting parts on noise characteristics, or to design a new blade shape with the projecting parts based on the existing blade curved surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
