METHOD FOR STUDYING RECRUITMENT OF MUSSEL, MYTILASTER AND ANADARA IN COASTAL AREA OF BLACKSEA

A method for studying recruitment of mussel, Mytilaster and Anadara in the coastal area of the Black Sea relates to research in the field of ecology. The method consists in that in a fixed point of water area in the season of settling fries (for mussels - the year round, for Mytilaster and Anadara in summer and autumn) a carrier with experimental substrates is exposed monthly. Once 30 days are finished, the carrier is replaced, and the number of fries which settled on the exposed substrate is determined. Prior to exposing at least two substrates with the hairy surface are disposed onto the carriers, and each substrate is made as a strip of 3- in width of an acrylic complex thread which is arranged closely in one layer on a cylindrical part of a plastic frame.
