A tour guide navigation terminal is provided. The tour guide navigation terminal includes: a man-machine interaction module (1), a terminal main control module (2), a terminal positioning module (3) and a tour guide navigation information module (4), wherein the terminal main control module (2) includes: an information acquiring unit (21) for receiving the command information inputted by the man-machine interaction module (1), for sending a positioning information request to the terminal positioning module (3), and for sending, according to the terminal positioning information returned by the terminal positioning module (3), a tour guide navigation information request to the tour guide navigation information module (4); and an information priority calculating unit (22) for receiving the tour guide navigation information returned by the tour guide navigation information module (4), for calculating, according to a preset optimal selection algorithm, the priority parameters of the tour guide navigation information returned by tour guide navigation information module (4), and for sending the high priority tour guide navigation information to the man-machine interaction module (1) for display or playback. Also provided is a method for optimally selecting tour guide navigation information in a non-touristic area using the tour guide navigation terminal.
