DEVICE FOR PREVENTING DROWSY DRIVING, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING DROWSY DRIVING BY RAPIDLY DETERMINING A DROWSY STATE

PURPOSE: A device for preventing drowsy driving is provided to prevent drowsy driving since the air is cooled and the cooled air is supplied to the driver if it is determined that a driver is in a drowsy state.;CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing drowsy driving comprises an illumination intensity sensor(10), a infrared CCD camera(20), an usual CCD camera(30), a pupil image storage(40), a microprocessor(50) and a cold wind generating unit(60). The illumination intensity sensor senses the inner illumination of a vehicle. The infrared CCD camera takes the pupil image of a driver if the sensed illumination is below a fixed value. The usual CCD camera takes the pupil image of the driver if the sensed illumination is over the fixed value. The pupil image storage stores the pupil images taken when the driver is in a normal state. The microprocessor drives the cold wind generating unit and a voice output unit(70).
