PURPOSE: A method for preparing nanoparticle-polymer hybrid materials and the nanoparticle-polymer hybrid materials prepared thereby are provided to improve the dispersibility and the stability of nanoparticles by surface-processing inorganic nanoparticles.;CONSTITUTION: A surface-processing compound containing one functional group for combination with inorganic nanoparticles and another functional group corresponding to parts or whole of the unit structure of an inorganic polymer is prepared. The surfaces of the inorganic nanoparticles are processed with the surface-processing compound. The surface-processed inorganic nanoparticles are mixed with the organic polymer. The inorganic nanoparticles are uniformly dispersed in an organic polymer matrix.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
