摘要

PURPOSE: A tactile information expression method and a tactile information transmitting system through the definition of haptic properties of a virtual environment are provided to offer multimedia which is more real to a user by defining the haptic properties of the virtual environment. CONSTITUTION: Haptic properties of a virtual environment are defined(S100). A touch about the virtual environment is detected(S200). If the touch about the virtual environment is detected, feedback tactile information corresponding to the detection is offered on the basis of the haptic properties of the defined virtual environment(S300). The haptic properties of the virtual environment comprise material properties, a dynamic force effect, and tactile sensibility. The material properties comprise rigidity, static frictional force, dynamic frictional force, damping, and texture.
