PURPOSE: A Korean alphabet input method with using a touch screen, a Korean alphabet input apparatus and a portable terminal including the same capable are provided to effectively utilize the feature of multi touch that can recognize a simultaneous touch point at two or more points. ;CONSTITUTION: A character combining apparatus(530) decides an initial sound consonant with a first touch of a detected consonant input key that is detected by a touch detecting unit. The character combining apparatus decides a vowel that is combined with the initial sound consonant by consecutively operating a dragging gesture from a second touch and the second operating where the first touch maintains in a state. A controller(540) mixes an initial sound and vowel. The controller outputs a combined letter on the touch screen.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
