PURPOSE: A selective surface modification method for microfluidic chip channels and a microfluidic chip for preparing double emulsion using the same are provided to selectively control the wettability of a microfluid chip channel within a short time through a simple process.;CONSTITUTION: A selective surface modification method for microfluidic chip channels comprises: (A) filling a trialcoxysilylalkyl methacrylate solution represented by chemical formula 1 in a microfluidic chip and heating the resultant to have the hydrophobic surface; (B) filling an acrylic acid solution in which a photoinitiator is included in the channel of the surface-modified microfluidic chip and irradiating ultraviolet rays to only the region requiring the hydrophobic surface to perform photopolymerization to have the hydrophobic surface.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
