PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for modeling a curved surface using intersection points in 3D grid structure are provided to create a pattern for each cell.;CONSTITUTION: An intersection point generator(110) creates intersection points between movement route and the edge of each cell. A pattern generator(120) creates a polygonal pattern through the connection of the intersection points. A pattern updater(130) creates a plurality of lower cells through the division of cell which includes the pattern. The pattern updater updates the generated pattern about the cell.
