The belt (1) has a traction carrier (5) arranged in a common plane and running along a longitudinal direction of the belt, where the belt is made of elastomer material i.e. polyurethane. Slots (2a, 2b) run diagonal to the longitudinal direction of the belt and on a belt surface that is turned toward a spherical traction disk. The slots are arranged continuously from a belt longitudinal side (4a) to another belt longitudinal side (4b). The slots are arranged parallel to each other at two pitch angles (alpha, beta) by forming a roughened structured surface.
