The method involves determining chlorophyll fluorescence level of plant based on chlorophyll concentration of the leaf to detect light adaptation state of the plant. The chlorophyll concentration of the leaf pigments is determined by transmission spectrum from respective location of the leaf. The ratio of the chlorophyll concentration in the photosystems is measured.
