The method involves copying one set of instruction sequences (6) with high number of accesses in a volatile memory (2) i.e. RAM, with number of maximum possible read accesses, where the number of maximum possible read accesses is higher than another number of maximum possible read accesses. Another set of instruction sequences (6') with the high number of accesses is read from the memory. The former set of instruction sequences is a program loop, and one of the former set of the instruction sequences is an idling program loop of an operating system (4). An independent claim is also included for a data processing arrangement for selecting instruction sequences for a data processing unit.
