PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter for crane in which an overcurrent is prevented from flowing through a motor or an inverter, and a large start-up torque can be obtained.;SOLUTION: The control method changes an output voltage V and an output frequency f of an inverter which supplies power to a motor M according to an output voltage/output frequency ratio characteristics having the minimum value of the output voltage V on the side of higher frequency than the start-up frequency. Since a current immediately after start-up of the motor decreases, the quantity of electricity can be reduced and thereby an overcurrent is prevented from flowing through the motor M or the inverter. Furthermore, since the output voltage V can be increased at the start-up frequency, a large torque can be generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
