PURPOSE: A method for estimating an integer frequency offset having an equal value based on pilots in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system is provided to determine the biggest integer frequency offset candidate value as a final integer frequency offset by calculating a real number component about a plurality of correlation values.;CONSTITUTION: Fast Fourier transform(201) changes a received signal into a frequency domain signal. A symbol acquisition unit(202) obtains one or more consecutive OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols. A plurality of received signal moving units(203) obtains a second frequency band by transferring a first frequency band of the OFDM symbol. A pilot classifying unit(204) classifies an index of pilots having an equal value based on a pilot value obtained through the received signal moving unit. A plurality of correlation units(205) calculates a correlation value about all pilots having the equal value in the second frequency band. An integer frequency offset estimating unit(206) finally determines an integer frequency offset from a plurality of integer frequency offset candidate values.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
