PURPOSE: A blocking bar for a traffic controlling device is provided to be permanently used because the blocking bar can be elastically bent and restored when a vehicle collision. CONSTITUTION: A blocking bar(10) for a traffic controlling device comprises a strip(11) and a shock absorbing protection member(13). The strip is made of an elastic material. The elastic material is a leaf spring. The shock absorbing protection member has a housing for accepting the strip and is made of a cushion material. The cushion material is made of PPI, expanded urethane, or polyethylene.
