PURPOSE: A method for determining a Bayesian rule-based target of a strapdown dual mode image seeker is provided to precisely determine a small-size target and an extended target by determining a target by applying the Bayesian rule to extracted features of images.;CONSTITUTION: A method for determining a Bayesian rule-based target of a strapdown dual mode image seeker is as follows. A maximum brightness position acquiring unit(110) acquires the coordinate of pixels having a maximum brightness value from an infrared ray image. An area setting unit(130) sets four sub areas having the same pixel unit and acquires the maximum value coordinate of pixel average. A central coordinate calculation unit(150) calculates a final pixel central coordinate from the acquired maximum value coordinate. A 2D moment modeling unit(170) determines a first target candidate by modeling the calculated central coordinate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
