The component has two component regions provided with different mechanical properties and different matrix materials (7, 8). Each component region is provided with a composite of the matrix materials, where the component regions are arranged in only one common fiber assembly (10'). The matrix materials are mixable with one another regarding the different mechanical properties such that a boundary zone is formed from the mixture of the matrix materials between the component regions. The matrix materials comprise different compositions of base material and additives. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a resin transfer molding (RTM) tool for manufacturing a fiber reinforced plastic composite component (2) a RTM method for manufacturing a fiber reinforced plastic composite component.
