The method involves preventing approach of attacking flying object (2) with respect to a to-be-protected object (4) by an aircraft (8). The aircraft is a passive blocking device which is arranged corresponding to the path (6) of attacking flying object. The optical warning is provided by the aircraft flying in the fight direction of attacking flying object during defense state. The ratio of distances of flying object and aircraft to the to-be-protected object is equal to the ratio of speeds of the flying object and aircraft. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) device for protecting object; and (2) system for protecting object.
