PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of analyzing a trend of using a commodity, a method of recommending commodity, a system for analyzing the trend of using the commodity, and a system for recommending commodity, for properly obtaining attributes of each consumer for effective analysis. PSOLUTION: The method of analyzing the trend of using the commodity includes the steps of: accessing a commodity purchase history database 214 and acquiring the purchase history information of the plurality of consumers of the plurality of commodities (S100); creating a vector for each predetermined vectorized interval for each consumer based on the acquired purchase history information (S200); clustering the created vector and classifying it into a plurality of data groups (S20); creating a representative vector which represents each of the plurality of classified data groups (S30); and classifying each of the plurality of consumers in association with any of the plurality of created representative vectors (S40).
