PSOLUTION: This electronic settlement system has: a transaction information acquisition part acquiring transaction information from a transaction intermediary server, and recording the transaction information in a delivery item management table; a management information acquisition part generating management information of a transaction; a transfer reservation execution part for making a reservation for transfer for the transaction to an account-system server; a delivery information transmission part transmitting bar-code information and delivery destination information to a delivery management server of a physical distributor; a bar-code information transmission part transmitting encryption information to the seller; a delivery completion notification reception part receiving delivery completion information transmitted by the delivery management server when delivery of the physical distributor is completed, and transmitting confirmation request mail to an Internet terminal of a commodity purchaser; an acknowledgement notification part registering that the commodity purchaser has made an access from the Internet terminal and has confirmed content of a delivery; and a transfer execution instruction part instructing the account-system server to execute exchange reserved.
