PURPOSE: A red tide forecasting system having red tide measuring nano sensors is provided to reduce energy consumption by using an optical semiconductor, thereby being driven for a long time with a portable battery cell only.;CONSTITUTION: A red tide forecasting system comprises a nano optical semiconductor sensor(100) and a computer(200). A nano optical semiconductor device of the nano optical semiconductor sensor comprises a circuit unit and a micro chamber. The circuit unit comprising a light emitting element and a light receiving element is formed on a surface of the micro chamber. Seawater flows into a measurement space of the micro chamber. Microorganisms of a red tide of the seawater has flown into the micro chamber is excited by lights emitted from the light emitting element. The light receiving element senses excited lights of specific wavelength and converts the same into electric signals. The computer saves data optimized for a red tide judgment condition of the seawater in advance. When a compared data value is satisfied with the condition, the computer saves a database.
