COMPOSITIONS FOR PREVENTING PLANT DISEASES WITH ENDOPHYTES AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING PLANT DISEASES BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Novel DSE(Dark Septate Endophyte) 8 and DSE9 isolated from grass roots, a composition containing the strains for preventing plants from diseases, and a prevention method in a plant are provided to effectively prevent plant diseases by infection and symbiosis in a plant root. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing plants from diseases contains DSE8 and/or DSE9. The plant diseases are caused by one or more bacteria selected from a group consisting of Rhizoctonia spp. and Pythium spp. The plant is Gramineae plants selected from a group consisting of a rice plant, barley, oat, corn, cane, hog millet, and grass. A method for preventing plant diseases comprises a step of treating soil in which plants grow and the plants with the composition.
