METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING METHYL ETHYL KETONE WITH HIGH YIELDS BY INHIBITING SIDE REACTIONS, BY DEHYDRATING 2,3-BUTANDIOL IN A BINARY REACTION SYSTEM USING AN ORGANIC SOLVENT
PURPOSE: A method for synthesizing methyl ethyl ketone is provided to improve reaction selectivity and yields by introducing a binary reaction system, thereby facilitating an operation for distillation.;CONSTITUTION: A method for synthesizing methyl ethyl ketone using a binary reaction system comprises a step of forming the binary reaction system by mixing 2,3-butanediol and organic solvent; a step of obtaining a mixed solution by adding a uniform inorganic acid to the binary reaction system; a step of mixing the mixed solution, increasing temperature of the mixed solution to derive dehydration from 2,3-butandiol; and a step of separating methyl ethyl ketone from the organic solvent by a distillation process.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
