Nanoparticles for detecting Pb2+ ions and method for detecting Pb2+ ions using the same

PURPOSE: A nanoparticle for detecting lead ion and a detection method using the same are provided to ensure high selectivity to lead ion and to selectively detect lead ion. CONSTITUTION: A nanoparticle for detecting lead ion contains gold nanoparticles and alkyl phosphate which is conjugated on the surface of the gold nanoparticles. The average diameter of the gold nanoparticles is 5-50 nm. The alkyl phosphate is conjugated on the surface of the gold nanoparticles through an organic linker, sulfur(-S-). The alkyl phosphate is denoted by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the nanoparticles comprises a step of mixing gold nanoparticle solution and alkyl phosphate solution. The lead ion sensor has the nanoparticles.
