The fitting (10) has a cable connecting piece (12) for guiding a cable and mounted at a housing opening. A sealing ring (28) seals the cable against the connecting piece, and a clamping body (30) loads the ring with clamping forces. A water-impermeable filter element (42) is arranged within the connecting piece between the ring and a ring-shaped sealing element (48) along a cable guiding axis (15). Ends of the filter element lie at the ring and at the sealing element in a final mounting condition in which a screwing nut (22) and the connected piece are screwed with one another. The clamping body is made from plastic material, and the cable connecting piece and the screwing nut are made from plastic or metallic material.
