The skin has an armor fabric impregnated with an epoxy type resin matrix, where certain dedicated parts (a) of the armor fabric are provided with an additive ready to reinforce the mechanical resistance of the skin. The dedicated parts correspond to a leading edge and a suction face of a blade (d) that are most likely to be impacted, where the remainder parts (b) of the armor fabric does not include the additive. The additive is based on acrylic block copolymers such as Nanostrength (RTM: acrylic block copolymers). An independent claim is also included for a method for realization of a composite material blade.
