The press has a presser (15) that is arranged above a sheet metal part (1), and a removable bottom (12) that is located under the sheet metal part. The removable bottom is movable between a high position and a low position. A set of blades e.g. upper blade (13), is arranged for cutting the sheet metal part and/or an edge. The blades are arranged to cut the sheet metal part when the removable bottom is in the high position and for raising the edge of the sheet metal part after cutting. The upper blade cooperates with a lower blade (14).
