PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a threat of spoofing when biological information has a defect.SOLUTION: An authentication device performs authentication by using two or more types of biological information including first information on a first living body part input to a first information input range and second information on a second living body part input to a second information input range. The device comprises: an information existence detection unit which detects a defect of the second information; a determination information acquisition unit which acquires defect determination information on the basis of third information on the second living body part input to the first information input range; and a false defect determination unit which determines whether the detected defect is a real defect or a false defect on the basis of the defect determination information.
