A noise observation device comprises: a cross-correlation coefficient calculation unit (112) which, using four microphones (M0-M3) which are respectively positioned two-by-two upon the x-axis, the y-axis, and the z-axis, computes cross-correlation coefficients of sound which has reached each microphone (M0-M3) for each axis; a peak search processing unit (114) which extracts, in descending order of cross-correlation coefficient, a plurality of time lags which denote a peak trend for the cross-correlation coefficients; a segmentation processing unit (116) which collects fluctuations in a time region of the plurality of time lags and forms a set of time lags which is contiguous for each axis; a normalized cross-correlation coefficient calculation unit (122) which, for the set of time lags for each axis, computes normalized cross-correlations between different axes; and a segment integration processing unit (124) which combines sets of time lags with the same sound sources, from normalized cross-correlation coefficients.
