The present invention relates to a hopper of a deep sea mineral resource buffer system for storing mineral resources, and more particularly, to a hopper having a mechanism for settling deep sea mineral resources and for separating the sediments from the deep seal mineral resources that has a radial shape inclined from the upper portion thereof and effectively weakens the flow flux of the mineral resource slurry introduced therefrom to easily settle the mineral resources on the bottom surface thereof. According to the present invention, the hopper includes an introduction pipe portion communicating with the upper portion thereof so as to introduce mineral resources thereinto, a separating portion disposed under the introduction pipe portion and diffusing and separating the sediments mixed in the mineral resource slurry, if the mineral resources are received from the introduction pipe portion, so as to induce the settling of the mineral resources, and an underside portion disposed under the separating portion so as to provide the mineral resources dropped from the separating portion to a transmission pipe portion.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
