The closer (1) has two upper and lower door closure units (2, 3) located on a common base plate (4). The upper door closure unit is equipped with an electro-hydraulic arresting device and a free-wheel clutch (5). The door closure units are connected with one another by a free-wheel clutch. An axis of the upper door closure unit is projected toward the lower door closure unit and engaged in the free-wheel clutch. The lower door closure unit is attached with the electro-hydraulic arresting device. The free-wheel clutch is located below the lower door closure unit.
