Method for compensation of angle measurement error of radar measurement device of motor car, involves determining angle measurement error between measured angle and actual angle by evaluating the movement pattern of object
The method involves providing a radar receiver (24) for receiving radar signals for detection of an external object and for determination of an angle of a connecting line between the object and a radar measurement device (20). The radar signals are evaluated by a control unit for the determination of the measured angle. An angle measurement error between the measured angle and an actual angle is determined by evaluating the movement pattern of the object. The compensation of the measured angle is performed by the control unit based on the determined angle measurement error. An independent claim is included for a driver assistance device for support of rider of vehicle with radar measurement device.
