The assembly (1) has a battery module (2) comprising a set of battery cells (3), and a thermal control unit (4) comprising a fluid input pipe (5) and a fluid output pipe (6). The thermal control unit is arranged to control temperature of the battery module. A fluidic connection unit (7) includes an external deformable ring that is removably connected to the input pipe and the output pipe. The ring is able to be deformed in a steady position in which the ring exerts a restraint stress on the input pipe and the output pipe. An independent claim is also included for a cooling loop.
