The tank has a metal bowl (21) designed in a curved conical shape and adapted to work pastes. The bowl comprises a bottom with a central duct (22) for allowing the passage of a support shaft (12) of a food treatment tool (30). The support shaft is rotated by a motor housed in a driving block (10) located under the tank. A base (25) comprises a holding ring (24) for fixing the bowl to the driving block. A skirt (23) closes a space between a lower base of the bowl and the holding ring, where the holding ring ensures compression of the skirt between the holding ring and the bowl. The skirt is made from metal or plastic. The holding ring is made from plastic. An independent claim is also included for a food processor.
