PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for accurate determination of a presence of the occurrence of carbonation in a hardened concrete, quantitative and direct estimation of a progress of carbonation, and appropriate estimation of a diffusion coefficient concerning salt penetration.;SOLUTION: An emission spectrum at a plurality of sample axial center direction positions of a concrete sample is measured (S1), an equation of regression line representing a relationship between the emission intensity of carbon specified based on the emission spectrum and the emission intensity of calcium is calculated (S2), the confidence band of the regression line is calculated (S3), carbonation is determined to occur at a measuring point at which the emission intensity of carbon is greater than the emission intensity of calcium and a combination of the emission intensity of carbon and the emission intensity of calcium does not enter the confidence band of the regression line (S4), and a percentage of the occurrence of carbonation of the sample axial center direction position is calculated using a result of the determination (S5).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
