PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition and a skin care composition comprising Eustoma grandiflorum extract.;SOLUTION: The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition and a skin care composition which contain an extract prepared by extracting from the whole plant of Eustoma grandiflorum, or the root, the stem with leaves, and/or the flowers of Eustoma grandiflorum with C1-C6 alcohol, water, and a polar solvent consisting of a combination thereof, and are effective in capture of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical, inhibition of matrix metalloprotease (MMPs) activity, and/or inhibition of elastase activity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
